Strangulation of an Obstructed Left Paraduodenal Hernia: A Case Report

AbstractHerein, we present a case of left paraduodenal hernia in a middle-aged male who presented to emergency department with complaints of abdominal pain, palpable mass in the left side of abdomen and vomiting. At laparotomy, diagnosis was made as strangulated left paraduodenal hernia, for which decompression of sac along with resection of gangrenous small bowel and reestablishing its continuity with repair of the defect was done.
