Med School at 36 yo - How to Apply?
Hi,
This is my situation regarding the Graduate Entry Programme to Medical School in the UK:
I am a French National living in the UK for 10 years
I had a Science Baccalaureat (eq A Levels) with a D Average in 1996 (C in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, D in Maths)
Following this I went to French Preparation Classes to business schools nationwide competition exam - I got into one of France's best Business Schools with a B in Maths (much harder than A Levels), and graduated with a Master in Management. Following this, I had a successful career in Finance for 10 years in Investment Banking.
It is my understanding that they require As or Bs. Unfortunately, I do not have these. Ideally, I am aiming at Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, King's.
Is there any way around this? Or do I need to take A Levels again?
Should I look at other schools?
Thank you
