Polycystic ovary syndrome, amenorrhea and the diagnostic role of anti-Müllerian hormone. Minerva Endocrinol. 2020 Dec;45(4):376-380 Authors: Capuzzo M, Donno V, LA Marca A Abstract The differential diagnosis of anovulatory disorders is actually based on serum gonadotrophin and estradiol levels. However, several other markers have been proposed. The purpose of this review was to underline the role of anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) as a possible marker in differential diagnosis of the anovulatory diseases and its use as a predictive marker of prognosis. In this article we discuss clinical and experimental evidences actually existing in literature and we suggest new potential clinical application of AMH. PMID: 33478206 [PubMed - in process]
