Correlation Between Onco-suppressors PTEN and NM23 and Clinical Outcome in Patients With T1 Breast Cancer

Conclusion: Low or lack of PTEN and NM23 immunohistochemical expression in cancer tissue is a risk factor for lymph node involvement and recurrent disease. It may represent a valid prognostic factor in planning therapy in patients who had surgery for T1 breast cancer.
