Lung preservation in mucoepidermoid carcinoma of tracheobronchial tree: A case series

Conclusion: Radical surgery to achieve R “0” resection with aggressive emphasis on lung preservation is the mainstay of treatment of MEC. Greater awareness of these tumors is necessary to avoid misdiagnosis and to prevent delaying of potential complete resection of MEC.
