Aspergillus mediastinitis in a post-operative immunocompetent child
We describe the case of an immunocompetent 2-month-old child with obstructed supracardiac total anomalous pulmonary venous circulation (TAPVC) and severe pulmonary artery hypertension, who underwent TAPVC repair through median sternotomy and developed post-operative mediastinitis due to Aspergillus flavus.
