New peer-reviewed open access journal in Ayurveda

The International Journal for Ayurveda Research (IJAR), a publication of Dept. of AYUSH, Govt. of India, is a quarterly peer-reviewed international journal. This is the first journal from India that can present to the world the wealth of science generated in Ayurveda in the medical schools and research organizations in the country. The journal aims to provide a common platform for publication of research in Ayurveda and to promote research culture among students of Ayurveda. IJAR will update its reader on research in Traditional medicine in the country and abroad. The journal will also have a special section for research students giving them a direction for their future goals.The journal allows free access (Open Access) to its contents and permits authors to self-archive final accepted version of the articles on any OAI-compliant institutional / subject-based repository. The journal does not charge for submission, processing or publication of manuscripts and even for color reproduction of photographs.
