Serum High-Sensitive C-reactive Protein May Reflect Periodontitis in Patients With Stroke
Conclusion: Periodontitis is a common finding among patients with acute stroke/TIA as over 80% of patients with cryptogenic stroke/TIA had periodontitis. S-hsCRP is a useful tool for detecting subclinical systemic inflammation.
