Impact of Deserosalization on Small Bowel Anastomosis Healing in Swine: A Pilot Study

Conclusion: Deserosalization in jejuno-jejunal anastomosis was technically feasible and seemed to improve mechanical strength and collagen deposition in this experimental porcine model. Further investigation is warranted.
