This is your opportunity to be nominated by the Society for Endocrinology to get involved with the Research Excellence Framework 2021 as a Panel Member, if you are an academic faculty member.The Research Excellence Framework (REF) is the UK’s system for assessing the excellence of research in higher education institutions. The REF outcomes are used to inform the allocation of around£2 billion per year of public funding for universities’ research.The REF is carried out by expert panels made up of senior academics, international members, and research users.
