“His Majesty the perverse”: domination and omnipotence in perversions

This article explores the narcissistic bases of perversion to show that the perverse problematic has at its foundation a narcissistically wounded ego that needs to remain illusorily unified, asserting itself in its infantile omnipotence. At the basis of the narcissistic functioning of perverse subjects lies an “ indomitable ” internal object, so that every maneuver of the perverse is configured as an extreme movement to dominate him, to exercise omnipotent control over him. Faced with the impossibility of mastering this “ embedded ” object internally, the subject ends up trying to exercise the active domain of the external object, which becomes its prey, its accomplice.Resumen Este art ículo objetiva explorar las bases narcísicas de la perversión para mostrar que la problemática perversa se fundamenta en un ego narcísicamente herido, que necesita mantenerse ilusoriamente unificado, afirmándose en su omnipotencia infantil. En la base del funcionamiento narcísico de los sujet os perversos, reside un objeto interno “ indomable ” , de modo que toda maniobra del perverso se configura como movimiento extremo para dominarlo y ejercer el control omnipotente sobre él.
