Health Literacy

Do you know the definition of health literacy?  According to the Affordable Care Act and Healthy People 2020 it is “the degree to which an individual has the capacity to obtain, communicate, process and understand health information and services in order to make appropriate health decisions.” What does that mean to your practice of librarianship?  How do you use this concept in order to serve your users?  (bbj)
