2014 was quite an interesting year for toxicology stories in the news. There was the bizarre death of a chef in China’s Guangdong province, the discovery that a chemical warfare agent may be commonly found in swimming pools, the case of multiorgan failure after playing a video game . . . and that’s not even including the crowning of the new record holder for world’s hottest pepper.
