First Light of a Light Emitting Diode…

Well, I am writing this on my new backup, blogging and writing computer. It is just slightly slower than my gaming computer, but not by much – mainly in the graphics department is where it is lacking.  I am using the integrated graphics chip on my new Haswell processor. I crossed my fingers for good luck as I pressed the power button and my dormant computer sprung to life much to my relief. The hardest part of the ordeal was getting all of my device driver and favorite software installed.  It took two hours to install Windows 8.1 and everything else – my customary software such as Window’s Live! Writer, iTunes, and Photoshop. “I know what you are going to be doing all night,” Charlie told me with a smile. Charlie and I both agreed to go get groceries tonight instead of last night. I was on a mission at that point in my evening. The Buttermilk Express… Helen stopped by a moment ago with a lot of milk and buttermilk of my parent’s that was about to expire. “Do you think you can drink them?” she asked me as she handed me my daily sodas. I grabbed the bags out of her trunk and poured a glass of tangy, icy cold Bavarian style buttermilk when I got back in my kitchen. It hit the spot. Helen had also made me a large container of her delicious tuna salad.  I am going to have to drive over to Kroger or the Circle K for some fresh bread this afternoon.
