A Fluorescent Charlie’s Aura…

Charlie came tonight to replace all the bulbs that had blown or that were incandescent in my house and outside my house. He was in dad’s truck with a ladder on the back. I would screw them in as fast as Charlie could hand them to me and then we would move to the next socket. That’s the end of incandescent bulbs in this house. We are now a fluorescent family. I bet it reflects favorably on my utility bill next month. I needed my Crazy Meds tonight something so terribly.  I was so very glad when Charlie called and said he was on the way and would be there in 20 minutes. I was restless and agitated all day – It was all rather miserable and I hate to share it. I needed something to help me get some rest and some sleep – some peace in my mind. After re-bulbing the whole house, Charlie and I sat in the den and talked for awhile.  Maggie was giving me the signal that she wanted to jump up in my lap and I let her with a smile. “I can’t believe you let that 30 pound dog sit in your lap!” Charlie said with a chuckle. “She’s just slightly spoiled,” I replied about my lap warmer. Maggie can do some serious sleeping once she gets next to me in the recliner. I’ve been known to doze off for quite awhile myself.
