The Desolation of Smaug…

Today is going to be a very busy and interesting day for this decrepitly old and moldy Andrew.  Mom and I leave at 11 a.m. to go see The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.  Next, we are going to eat at Chik-Fil-A. (I can already taste those two chicken sandwiches I always get). Then mom and I are going to the bookstore.  I have a $40 gift card to Books-A-Million to spend and I am sure my mother has a few books in mind as well. Our journey culminates in a trip to Sonic for dessert. I will be headed back home up the interstate as I drink my $4 dollar large liquid gold chocolate shake. “Now, don’t back out on me when it comes time to leave,” my mother told me earnestly, sternly and worriedly last night. “I am really looking forward to doing this. Let’s make ourselves go. I will pick you up at eleven.” My mother knows my propensity to be a hermit and to not leave the house. I assured her we were going and that I saved two Klonopin just in case that old nemesis of mine anxiety erupts.
