ConclusionsIncreased knowledge and awareness about appropriate health behaviors can increase patients’ power and enable them to freely act and adopt health behaviors to improve health outcomes. Implications for NursingPlacing patients at the center of the nursing process and partnering with patients to plan and develop interventions enable them to take actions and improve health outcomes.
