how long does it take to learn echo?

I've just been on a course teaching how to echo in the context of a cardiac arrest - the recommended number of scans with 4 basic views (pslax, pssax,a4ch, subcostal) is 50. Is this enough to be competent in level 1 echo? personally i'm not sure but I guess if it is the context of an arrest it is less relevant if there is noone more qualified around? sadian
