In an act of devotion and heroism, nurse Gail Sandidge died while protecting her patients from a knife-wielding assailant at the Good Shepherd Ambulatory Surgical Center in Longview, Texas. She was allegedly killed by Kyron Templeton, who was arrested a short time after the attack.
