Efficacy of Intravitreal Injection of Aflibercept in Neovascular Age-Related Macular Degeneration With or Without Choroidal Vascular Hyperpermeability [Retina]

Conclusions.
Intravitreal aflibercept can achieve remission of exudative retinal changes in eyes with AMD even in the presence of CVH. In addition, it showed greater effects on the choroid and PED than intravitreal ranibizumab. The possible relationship between CVH suppression and decrease in CT warrants further study.
