The Flea Saga Continues…

Complications would soon quickly ensue as I was sitting happily at this computer this afternoon. Maggie started to do the lovely routine she does when a family member is here or just some close friends have arrived. “Let’s weigh Maggie,” my mother said with a full head of steam as she carried some scales from her car and into the house. I stood on the scales without Maggie and then with her in my arms. Maggie weighed 40 pounds and mom wrote this down. Next, we drove to Riverside Animal Hospital to check their prices. Mom was happy when it was half than what she currently pays now. There was a catch, though, as Maggie needed to be brought in for a checkup before they would start to administer the pills. Things were getting complicated quicker and quicker! Mom set an appointment and we then had to go by Valley Animal Clinic and get Maggie’s medical records to give to Riverside Animal Hospital. By this time, I was delirious, aggravated, and just wanted to go home and chill out. I kept telling myself that mom was just doing what was best for Maggie. She sure can get things extremely complicated quick!
