A Coercive Early Rising Kind of Morning…

I woke at eight with my cell phone ringing. It was about to buzz right off the side of my bedside table. It was Pauline and she said one of the computers at the lab at the Literacy Center was going out. I got up, grabbed a shower, and headed to the Literacy Center. It was the power supply in the computer that was the source of trouble. I wrote down the part number and told Pauline what it was and what I needed to get the computer back up and running. Not one to dawdle, Pauline then went straight into her office and ordered the part. Trust Begats Trust… Dad called me early mid-morning and he wanted me to ride to Columbus, Georgia with him to the BMW dealership. He was getting the Beemer serviced and needed me to drive one of the cars home. I literally begged dad to let me drive the X5 home and he finally, but reluctantly agreed.  That car is so much fun to drive. The acceleration is exhilarating and extremely explosive and the ten speaker sound system is to die for. Just the throaty sound of the engine was also music for the ears as you accelerate. Dad and I stopped at Wendy's to eat a bite before we left Columbus. That food hit the spot as I seem to stay hungry all the time these days. We both got double patty burgers and scarfed them down. “Should we get your mother a burger to-go?” my father asked. “It would thrill her soul,” I replied.
