Safety Roundup

In this week's Safety Roundup, stories of:

a 10-year-old in Swanville, Minnesota who died when the ATV he was driving rolled over in a wooded area behind his family's home. He was wearing a helmet at the time.
a 14-year-old in Houma, Louisiana who died when the ATV he was riding on with three other people overturned. The 13-year-old driver was racing another ATV at the time.
a 16-year-old in Alexandria, Louisiana who died when he lost control of the pickup truck he was driving, ran off the road, and the truck overturned. He was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the truck.
a 10-year-old in Cazenovia, New York who was in critical condition after falling down an 18 foot well in a friend's backyard while playing hide-and-seek.
a 14-year-old from Brighton, Colorado who died while hunting with his parents and grandfather. It is thought that the hunting accident occurred after he unintentionally shot himself in the chest with his rifle....Read Full Post
