A Tuesday Story

A friend's daughter, I'll call her Ms. N, was getting all A's in a course until a recent quiz. She scored an 88, but the prof phoned her and told her that she and another student were getting zeros because they handed in quizzes with identical answers, both including an unusual error. He rationalized that giving zeros to both students would be acceptable because one student was a cheater and the other probably allowed the cheating. Is cheating usually assisted?...
