ConclusionsIn our study cohort, pediatric AACE not accompanied by other ophthalmic and neurological abnormalities was not a manifestation of intracranial pathology. In such cases, the decision to perform neuroimaging should take into account other factors, including caregivers' preferences and availability for close monitoring.
