However, they represent a clinically significant phenomenon and have been widely reported in all age groups. Here we describe two infants presenting subtle multifocal seizures with a migrating aspect on EEG during beta-lactam antibiotic treatment with agents from the carbapenem group (meropenem) and the cephalosporin group (ceftazidime).
