Why are voices against disability cuts always pushed aside?

Despite the fact that disabled people come from absolutely every possible segment of society, despite the estimate of 1 in 10 people in the country having some sort of mental or physical impairment and despite that meaning there must be nearly as many families affected, we get remarkably little support from the general public for our campaigns.
