Long-term follow-up of patients with severe ANCA-associated vasculitis comparing plasma exchange to intravenous methylprednisolone treatment is unclear

This longer term follow-up of PLEX for the treatment of ANCA-associated vasculitis in patients with severely impaired renal function are disappointing. The data suggest that PLEX does not significantly benefit these patients.
