Should the FDA approve lovemaking technique?

Everybody knows that having sex is beneficial for your health. It lowers your blood pressure, reduces risk of heart attack, improves your self esteem and reduces stress (as per webmd.com). I think that one of the most important gifts God gave us is the ability to love. But recently I realized that there’s a problem with love: Unlike so many other things that keep us healthy, lovemaking procedure is not approved by the FDA! There are no randomized controlled studies about the safety of lovemaking, no government recommended doses, no side effects. Nothing! So I asked myself:  how can we do it without FDA and government approval? Because it works. As a civilization, we would never have become as advanced as we are now, we would not even have survived if we had waited for randomized double-blind controlled studies and government approval.  For example, Dr. Edward Jenner tried his smallpox vaccination on only 21 patients. Testing vitamin C for scurvy treatment? Only 6 groups of 2 sailors each. Apparently they did not need huge, controlled double-blind studies: if it works, it works. On the other hand, the FDA recently approved a combined pill to bring down one of the most important components of our body—a substance in our cell walls that maintains our body’s shape, is the precursor of our s.e.x. hormones, makes our bile work, etc. -- Cholesterol. The drug is called Liptruzet. It is made from atorvastatin and ezetimibe. Sounds reasonable:  two drugs are better t...
