What Do You Think Of Pharmacogenomics to Restrict Statins Prescriptions?
In my humble opinion Statins is a Multi Billion Dollars Business, and are mostly prescribed for low risk patients with huge and huge NNTs for clinical benefits.
Now, a recent Article suggest Genotype based polymorphisms can be a good guide for Statins Prescriptions. As usual with any statin positive results it is being heavily advertised.
They Do Not mention Epigenetics which can change completely any genetic background under different environment circunstances.
