a 14-year-old in Salem, Oregon who was unintentionally shot in the armpit while playing with a loaded .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun with his 11-year-old friend.
a 13-year-old in Anderson, Indiana who died after he was unintentionally shot in the chest by a younger sibling with a .22 caliber handgun.
a 9-year-old in Wichita Falls, Texas was died after he was unintentionally shot in the face by an unsecured, loaded shotgun when a 13-year-old in the house handed it to him. He was visiting his grandfather as part of his summer vacation.
