can we improve survival after cardiac arrests?

An opinion piece in the BMJ this week argues that we can improve survival after cardiac arrest by better CPR training for the public, wider avalability of defibs , continued improvement in prehospital care (which in the UK has improved hugely in the last decade alone) and better cooperation with large cardiac centres.
