Couple: Monsanto's 'Negligent' Conduct Regarding Roundup Caused Husband's Cancer

TOLEDO, Ohio - A couple on Nov. 13 sued Monsanto Co. in Ohio federal court, contending that its "negligent and wrongful conduct" related to the manufacture and promotion of the herbicide Roundup, which contains the active ingredient glyphosate, caused the husband to develop cancer (Robert Wistinghausen, et al. v. Monsanto Company, No. 19-2661, N.D. Ohio).
