Association of Rehabilitation Nurses New Investigator Grant The principal investigator (PI) for the New Investigator research grant should be a novice researcher who has never received significant funding for research. They must be a registered nurse who is active in rehabilitation or who demonstrates interest in and significant contributions to rehabilitation nursing.  This PI must also have a Master’s degree in Nursing, and a research doctorate; or a Master’s degree in Nursing and be currently enrolled in a doctoral research program.  Applicants who are members in ARN will have preference for funding, though membership is ARN is not required. Fellow Grant The principal investigator (PI) for the Research Fellows grant should be an experienced researcher who has a history of research funding. They must be a registered nurse who is active in rehabilitation or who demonstrates interest in and significant contributions to rehabilitation nursing.  This PI must have an earned research doctorate in nursing or a related field. Applicants who are members in ARN will have preference for funding, though membership is ARN is not required. Deadline is March 1, 2015 The Research Grant Committee reviews proposals once a year. 2015 proposals must be emailed to sfloutsakos@connect2amc.com by midnight March 1, 2015. Proposals received after that date will not be considered. Funding begins January 2016 for the selected proposals.
