Reviewing Physicians Therapy Choices--A Study with Reference to Physicians Behaviour

The discussion on use of fixed dose combination and combinations of separate component drugs has been widely initiated at global level. The issue of advantages and disadvantages associated with various therapies is the domain to be shared by the prescribing physicians and pharmacologists. However, an effort in this study has been made to evaluate the physician’s preferences for prescribing fixed dose combinations and combinations of separate component drugs. The physicians were classified on basis of different variables—sex, experience, area and qualification. The data assembled was analysed using chi-square distribution.
