Channel-mediated lactic acid transport: a novel function for aquaglyceroporins in bacteria
In conclusion, we have functionally analyzed the largest set of bacterial MIPs and demonstrated that the lactic acid membrane permeability of bacteria can be regulated by aquaglyceroporins.
