Give to Cure is pleased to announce the launch of its Global Alzheimer’s Challenge with the release of its short form Request for Application (RFA). The goal of the Global Alzheimer’s Challenge is to accelerate the development of treatments for Alzheimer’s disease by directly funding the world’s most promising clinical trials for Alzheimer’s. Prioritized by an independent, world-class scientific advisory board, we get treatments to patients who need it most, now. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA • Proposed clinical trials must be testing biomedical (drugs, treatments, devices) interventions for Alzheimer’s disease. Repurposed treatments are acceptable. • Proposed clinical trials must have filed an IND or IND-equivalent. • Evidence of clear IP ownership of subject compound must be available. • Proposed clinical trials must be ready to enter Phase I or Phase II trials within three months of receipt of initial funding. • Requested funding may only be for specified clinical trials costs; GTC will not fund institutional overhead or capital investments..
