Call for Nominations: American Psychological Association Division 38 Awards Program Outstanding Contributions to Health Psychology. Division 38 gives four awards each year for outstanding contributions to the field. One goes to a “senior” researcher member (i.e., someone who received her or his terminal degree > 10 years ago); one goes to a “early career” researcher member (i.e., someone who earned his/her terminal degree within the past 10 years); one goes to a clinical service provider member; and one goes to a health psychology educator/trainer. • To nominate someone for the Outstanding Contributions to Health Psychology by a Senior Professional Award, please send a 1-2 page letter describing the individual’s work and why that person is worthy of recognition, as well as a copy of the individual’s CV. • For the Outstanding Contributions to Health Psychology by an Early Career Professional Award, please send a 1-2 page letter describing the individual’s work and why that person is worthy of recognition, a copy of the individual’s CV, and a few (2-3) key publications. • The Award for Outstanding Contributions to Clinical Health Psychologyis intended to recognize outstanding commitment to clinical health psychology by a full-time provider of direct clinical services.
