Stratification and conflict – seeking understanding and spaces for optimism

Despite the focus on Israel, I argue that the key findings have relevance to other contexts. This commentary seeks specifically to identify spaces for optimism in a context often categorised as highly stratified and engaged in an intractable conflict.
