Bilateral aqueous misdirection following routine cataract surgery in angle closure

Cataract surgery with IOL is increasingly preferred as the first-line management of Primary Angle Closure / Glaucoma (PAC/G) instead of laser peripheral iridotomy (LPI), following the endorsement by the recently reported EAGLE study. However, we present two eyes of a 63-year old lady, both of which remained shallow after cataract surgery, with one eye developing high and uncontrolled IOP. Both eyes needed further intervention, the latter eye received surgical treatment as well.
