The prevalence of peri-implant diseases in patients with metabolic syndrome: a case-control study on an Italian population sample.

CONCLUSIONS: Despite the limited sample, our results showed a statistically significant higher prevalence of peri-implant diseases in patients with metabolic syndrome compared to healthy patients.
