Young adults’ perspectives on health-related quality of life after paediatric traumatic brain injury: a prospective cohort study

ConclusionsA substantial proportion of young adult survivors of childhood TBI experience poor HRQoL in at least one domain of functioning at 15 years post-injury. These findings suggest that, even in the very long term post-injury, the identification and treatment of modifiable risk factors has potential to improve very-long-term HRQoL outcomes in this vulnerable population.
