Grant for Oncology Innovation

Grant for Oncology Innovation Application deadline: Friday, January 30th, 2015 Investigators leading innovative research projects that have the potential to advance the implementation of personalised treatment for solid tumours are invited to apply. Potential research topics which could be funded through the Grant for Oncology Innovation include: Research on molecular biomarkers or new targeted treatments, technology platforms for the routine analysis of molecular biomarkers, side effect management and platforms or tools which allow patients to access individualised treatment. A total grant of up to € 1,000,000 will be awarded to one or more selected projects. The grant is built on the success of the Grant for Fertility Innovation (GFI) and the Grant for Multiple Sclerosis Innovation (GMSI) which between them have awarded grants totalling over 10 million Euros to translational research projects since 2010. Applications will be evaluated by a Scientific Steering Committee including internationally renowned oncologists and researchers. Who is eligible to apply for GOI? Researchers from around the world may apply for the grant if they are leading innovative research projects to advance the use of personalised medicine in cancer treatment.
