$2.05B Glyphosate Award Valid, Monsanto Not Entitled To New Trial, Cancer Victims Say

OAKLAND, Calif. - A couple who was awarded $2,055,206,172.77 in total damages for cancer caused by exposure to Monsanto Co.'s chemical glyphosate on July 1 filed a brief in California court arguing that Monsanto is not entitled to a new trial because the evidence supports the verdict (Alva Pilliod, et al. v. Monsanto Company, No. RG17862702, Calif. Super., Alameda Co.).
