Experience of application of local negative pressure in patients with periprosthetic infection

Semenova Wound healing local negative pressure (NPWT) is one of the newest techniques used in the treatment of wounds. It allows you to speed up and optimize the healing process and reduce the cost of treatment. The authors introduce the reader to the results of treatment of patients with periprosthetic infection using the method of local negative pressure: more than half the use of NPWT in infectious complications replacement of large joints of recurrence were observed up to 3 years in all cases the use of NPWT while maintaining endocorrector scoliosis purulent inflammatory process has been stoped, no recurrence was noted in the period from 6 months to 5 years.
