Split Panel Reverses, Says Lead Poisoning Case Against City Of Chicago Is Valid

CHICAGO - A divided Illinois appellate panel on May 22 reversed and remanded a lead-contaminated drinking water case, ruling that the plaintiffs had pleaded facts sufficient to support a valid claim that they had been injured (Gordon Berry, et al. v. City of Chicago, No. 1-18-0871, Ill. App., 1st Dist., 6th Div.).
