Jury Awards Total Of $6M To 3 Separate Lead-Based Paint Plaintiffs In Wisconsin

MILWAUKEE - A federal jury in Wisconsin on May 31 awarded a total of $6 million in compensatory damages to three separate plaintiffs who had sued the former makers of lead-based paint alleging that the companies were liable for injuries associated with exposure to lead (Glenn Burton v. American Cyanamid, et al., No. 07-0303, E.D. Wis.).
