Background SIC is a high-achieving nonprofit organization dedicated to limiting the impact of HIV/AIDS in underserved communities and to training future leaders in global health and development.  SIC believes that the HIV/AIDS crisis creates both an imperative to act and an opportunity to learn. We envision a world where HIV/AIDS no longer limits length or quality of life or reduces the social or economic development of communities, and where young people learn the skills to address the health crises of future generations. SIC’s US office is based in San Diego, California, and supports the programs office in Arusha, Tanzania.  In addition to program support, the US office is responsible for all aspects of SIC’s volunteer program, as well as fundraising activities. Position SIC seeks a self-motivated and experienced individual to serve as Development Manager.  This position is 10 hours a week and the initial consultancy contract will be for 3 months, beginning as soon as possible, with possibility of extending for longer term depending on performance and fit.
