TashimaAbstractSnake venoms are complex mixtures of a large number of distinct proteins and peptides with biological activity. Peptide spectral libraries are compilations of previously identified MS/MS spectra obtained from proteomics experiments. Here we present the generation and use of a Venom Peptidome and a Venom Proteome spectral library for the analysis of venom proteomes and peptidomes from distinct snake species.Graphical abstract
