an 18-month-old in Willis, Texas who was attacked by a pit bull while in his backyard with his mother. The toddler has facial paralysis and will require multiple surgeries.
an 8-year-old in McCleary, Washington who was bitten on her head and legs by an American bulldog at a friend's home as she arrived for a birthday party.
a 4-year-old in Conroe, Texas who died after being attacked by a pit bull that was chained in a neighbor's backyard.
a 14-year-old in Stow Creek Township, New Jersey who was unintentionally shot in his face by his father while they were hunting deer.
